THE ORGANIZATION OF HAKKORYU
The primary mission of the Hakkoryu Soke, Hakkoryu So Hombu Dojo, and his/its various councils and associations is the orderly and controlled dissemination of the knowledge and techniques of Hakkoryu Jujutsu and Hakkoryu Koho Shiatsu so as to protect and keep pure their original teachings of these traditions.
In order to accomplish this mission, it is important a common foundation of understanding exist among Disciples and Instructors. Thus, at each stage of learning "Oaths of Loyalty" and "Agreements" are required to be signed. This includes new Disciples as well as those being considered for advancement to Yudansha and Menkyo levels.
